SECTION 4 FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS
Flash Point (Method):
ND Explosive Limits: Lower ND
Flammable Limits: ND Auto Ignition Temperature: ND
Extinguishing Media: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical
Special Fire Fighting Procedures and Hazards: Self contained breathing apparatus is recommended. Water is not a suitable extinguishing media but good for keeping containers cool.
Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards: Vapors are heavier than air and can travel along the ground and gather in low areas which can be ignited by ignition sources such as pilot lights. Overheated containers can burst due to pressure buildup.

SKIN: Can cause skin irritation on repeated or prolonged contact. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Use neoprene or rubber gloves and apron when handling this product.
INHALATION: Mist or vapors can cause irritation of the respiratory system and central nervous system depression at high concentrations. Get to fresh air if symptoms occur.
INGESTION: May produce intestinal, mucous membrane, throat and esophagus irritation with possible damage to vital organs. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention.
IN ALL CASES: GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF ADVERSE EFFECTS PERSIST
PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY: Skin, eyes, inhalation, ingestion
HYGIENE: Wash
hands and face before eating or drinking.
SECTION 7 PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING, STORAGE AND USE
SPILLS AND LEAKS: Eliminate all ignition sources. Contain to prevent loss to the environment. Collect excess material. Absorb residual material with absorbent. Handle as hazardous waste.
STORAGE AND HANDLING: Keep containers tightly closed. Store at ambient temperatures and away from any heat or ignition sources.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Follow the recommendations of local, state and federal regulations.
EMPTY CONTAINERS: Send to a reconditioning firm or return to Wausau Chemical Corporation.
