SECTION 6 – HEALTH HAZARDS – PROTECTIVE MEASURES  FIRST AID

Carcinogen:      No

EYES:              Severe eye irritant. Use chemical goggles when handling this product. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

SKIN:              Can cause skin irritation on repeated or prolonged contact. Prolonged exposure may cause skin defatting, severe dermatitis, and chemical burns. Use neoprene or rubber gloves and apron when handling this product. In the event of contact wash with water for 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

INHALATION:           Mist or vapors can cause depression of the central nervous system. Higher concentrations can result in eye, nasal, or respiratory tract irritation, and or death due to cardiac arrhythmias. Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, perform artificial respiration. Get immediate medical attention.

INGESTION:              A small amount ingested is practically nontoxic. Excess amounts could cause gastrointestinal disturbances and depression of the central nervous system. Drink large amounts of water. Do Not induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention.

IN ALL CASES:          GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF ADVERSE EFFECTS PERSIST

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY:      Skin, eyes, inhalation, ingestion.

HYGIENE:      Wash hands and face before eating or drinking. Wash soiled clothing before wearing again if contact occurs.

SECTION 7 – PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING, STORAGE AND USE

SPILLS AND LEAKS:            Ventilate area. Wear eye, skin, and respiratory protection during cleanup. Absorb and shovel liquid into waste container; cover and remove from area. For larger spills, dike area and soak up with absorbent. Prevent loss to environment. Keep from waterways and sanitary sewers.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:           Keep containers tightly closed. Store in a cool and dry location.
