SECTION 6 HEALTH HAZARDS PROTECTIVE MEASURES FIRST AID
Carcinogen: No
EYES: Extremely irritanting to the eyes. Use chemical goggles when handling. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.
SKIN: Corrosive to the skin. Use neoprene gloves and rubber apron. In the event of contact wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if symptoms develop./
INGESTION: Can be fatal if ingested. If conscious give immediately my mouth milk, dilute solutions of calcium lactate (USP) or calcium gluconate (USP). DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Seek medical attention immediately!!
IN ALL CASES: GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF EFFECTS PERSIST
PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY: Skin, eyes, inhalation, ingestion.
HYGIENE: As with all chemicals, avoid prolonged contact with product.
SECTION 7 PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING, STORAGE AND USE
SPILLS AND LEAKS: Sweep up with a minimum of dusting while keeping away from flame or heat. Neutralize remaining residue with alkali solution and since neutralized solution is also toxic dispose of accordingly. Keep from sewers.
STORAGE AND HANDLING: Store in a cool dry ventilated place away from acute fire hazard. Keep out of reach of children.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
EMPTY CONTAINERS: Do not use for any other product. Return or recycle empty container.
