EYES:              Can cause irritation.. Use chemical goggles when handling this product. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

 

SKIN:              Can cause skin irritation on repeated or prolonged contact. Can be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Use neoprene or rubber gloves and apron when handling this product. In the event of contact wash thoroughly with water for 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

 

INHALATION:           A single prolonged (hours) excessive inhalation may cause adverse effects. Excessive exposure may cause irritation to upper respiratory tract. Remove to fresh air if symptoms occur.

 

INGESTION:              Single dose oral toxicity is moderate. No hazards are anticipated from swallowing small amounts incidental to normal handling. Excessive amounts may cause injury. Induce vomiting immediately. Get immediate medical attention.

 

IN ALL CASES:          GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF ADVERSE EFFECTS PERSIST

 

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY:      Skin, eyes, inhalation, ingestion.

STORAGE AND HANDLING:           Keep containers tightly closed. Store away from heat sources. Do not cut, drill, grind, weld near empty drums, for they could contain vapors.

 

WASTE DISPOSAL:              Follow recommendations of local, state and federal regulations.

 

EMPTY CONTAINERS:        Replace and firmly tighten closures. Send to a recycling center or return to Wausau Chemical Corporation.
