EYES:              Can cause severe eye irritation on prolonged or repeated contact. Use eye protection when handling. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

 

SKIN:              Can cause skin irritation on repeated or prolonged contact. Wash thoroughly with soap and water in the event of contact. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

 

INHALATION:           Mist or vapors can cause irritation of the respiratory system.

 

INGESTION:              Can cause irritation of the mouth, esophagus and mucous membranes. Drink large quantities of water. Induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention.

 

IN ALL CASES:          GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF ADVERSE EFFECTS PERSIST

 

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY:      Skin, eyes, inhalation, ingestion.

SPILLS AND LEAKS:            Contain to prevent loss to the environment. Collect excess material. Flush residual material to a sanitary sewer. The EPA requires that a written record is made for spills greater than one quart. Spills greater than that required for application to one acre must be reported.

 

STORAGE AND HANDLING:           Keep containers tightly closed. Store at ambient temperatures. Freezes at –30 oF. Freezing does not deteriorate the product.

 

WASTE DISPOSAL:              Follow the recommendations of local, state and federal regulations. Should only apply if product is contaminated with other material that makes the product unfit for its intended use.

 

EMPTY CONTAINERS:        Triple rinse with water. Send to a recycling center for disposal or return to Wausau Chemical Corporation.
