EYES:              Mild eye irritant. Use chemical goggles when handling this product. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

 

SKIN:              Can cause skin irritation drying or cracking on repeated or prolonged contact. Use neoprene or rubber gloves and apron when handling this product. In the event of contact wash thoroughly with soap and water.

 

INHALATION:           Excessive concentrations of mist or vapors can cause irritation of the respiratory system. High vapor concentrations can cause drowsiness. Provide adequate ventilation.

 

INGESTION:              Irritation to the mouth, esophagus and mucous membranes. Get immediate medical attention.

 

IN ALL CASES:          GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF ADVERSE EFFECTS PERSIST

SPILLS AND LEAKS:            Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate personal protective equipment. Eliminate ignitions sources. Contain to prevent loss to the environment. Collect excess material and absorb residual with vermiculite or other inert material. Containerize for disposal.

 

STORAGE AND HANDLING:           Avoid contact with the eyes and prolonged or repeated contact with the skin. Avoid breathing high vapor concentrations. Use only with adequate ventilation. Keep containers tightly closed. Store away from heat, sparks, flame or oxidizing materials.

 

WASTE DISPOSAL:              Follow recommendations of local, state and federal regulations.

 

EMPTY CONTAINERS:        Replace and firmly tighten closures. Send to a recycling center or return to Wausau Chemical Corporation.
