SECTION 6 HEALTH HAZARDS PROTECTIVE MEASURES FIRST AID
Carcinogen: No
EYES: Can cause severe irritation and burns. Use chemical goggles when handling. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.
SKIN: Can cause drying, defatting and dermatitis on repeated or prolonged contact but is basically not corrosive to the skin. Use neoprene gloves and apron when handling. In the event of contact flush thoroughly with water. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.
INHALATION: Not a likely route of exposure due to low vapor pressure. If the product is atomized or vaporized excessive inhalation can cause irritation to throat and respiratory system.
INGESTION: Severely corrosive to the mouth, esophagus and mucous membranes. Drink large amounts of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention.
IN ALL CASES: GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF ADVERSE EFFECTS PERSIST
PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY: Skin, eyes, inhalation, ingestion.
HYGIENE: Wash
hands and face before eating or drinking.
