EYES:              Can cause severe irritation and permanent corneal injury if not treated promptly.

Vapors may cause temporary disturbance of vision. Use chemical goggles when handling this product. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

SKIN:              Causes chemical burns with discomfort or pain, severe redness and swelling, tissue destruction, fissures, ulceration and possibly bleeding into the inflamed area. Use neoprene or rubber gloves and apron when handling this product. In the event of contact flush with water for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if symptoms develop.

 

INHALATION:           May cause severe irritation of the respiratory tract, experienced as nasal discomfort and discharge, coughing, and possibly accompanied by chest pain. There may be difficulty in breathing. Get to fresh air and medical attention.

 

INGESTION:              Moderately toxic. Causes severe irritation or chemical burns of the mouth, throat, esophagus, and stomach, with pain or discomfort in the mouth, throat, chest, and abdomen, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, thirst, faintness, weakness, circulatory collapse and coma.

Drink large amounts of water. Get immediate medical attention.

 

IN ALL CASES:          GET PROMPT MEDICAL ATTENTION IF EFFECTS PERSIST

 

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY:      Skin, eyes, and inhalation, ingestion.
