Extinguishing Media: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical
Special Fire Fighting Procedures and Hazards: Self contained breathing apparatus is recommended. Water is not a suitable extinguishing media but good for keeping containers cool.
Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards: Vapors are heavier than air and can travel along the ground and gather in low areas which can be ignited by ignition sources such as pilot lights. Overheated containers can burst due to pressure buildup.
